CTD After Battle Ends.

Hi guys,

At first I thought it was no biggie... I fight a lot of wars and sometimes after I had finished the battle and quit from the battle screen my game CTD "Rome Has stop working". I'm not having other CTD problems it always happens after I just finished a battle and after the loading screen to go back to my Campaign map.

This is very crushing for me, having finished a battle and having the game CTD is not fun.

Is there any solutions in this? Is this normal? Like I said It doesn't happen every time but it does happen whenever I play the game.

My Computer:
Windows 7 64
8 GB ram
Radeon 6870
Intel 2700k running at stock

I am also using the steam version of the game.

There appears to be several different reasons for this problem. Some players find that waiting for a minute or so before accepting the battle results seems to work. Time to get up and stretch your legs maybe?

Also - are your graphic resolutions the same between the battle map and strategy map? I always keep mine the same. I believe DirectX can encounter problems when switching between resolutions in this very old game.
