Embarrassing lose to the Crusader States, anyone else ever embarrassed?

So I was playing as the Teutonic Order. I did short campaign because I couldn't imagine the Teutonic Order with 50 regions so I just played to get 25.

Anyway, from the start I felt sad for the crusader states, always getting destroyed or left to sit on Cyprus for eternity. What I did was kept calling crusades asap to regions next to them, hoping they would join them and take the city (also to make everyone war with the Fatimid so they had less trade partners). Lo and behold, the crusades joined the crusade every time and took the places. At first they lost antioch and Kerak, but they took Gaza from a crusade, then they took Damietta and Cairo. Hungary took Alexandria (crusaders took it after hungary was excommunicated), then the crusades upper egypt region, took back kerak took antioch took the lands to mecca and took asia minor. They also took damascus and such and kept moving east to just west of Baghdad where they fought off the mongols, presumably beating them for the most part.

They then won the game, as they had 25 regions and all the required places while I had only about 16 regions as the teutonics.

So, anyone else have embarrassing loses like this ever? by the way, no i did not give them lots of money or anything, all i did was call some crusades. I even tried propping up the Byzantines when the Seljuk collapsed. Needless to say the byzantines died off presumebly from lack of family members as they had constantinople and four other cities when they dissapeared and was turned to rebels. (Norway had this happen too, except they had all of norway and denmark's regions, don't know how they could have simply vanished!)

I haven't lost a game yet (except one in SS 6.2 if I recall correctly) where I lost in the 11th or 12th turn as Crusader States against the Fatimids. Was doing a migration campaign (sent everyone to Palma and start over there) when suddenly a pirate ship sunk all of my troops and the Fatimids took over Acre. Epic fail.
Altough, what happened before is that I helped France once from falling appart, I was playing as England, made them my allies and gave them all their territories back from Scotland, Aragon and Denmark, they only had like lyon and clermont left. 50 turns later or more, they backstab me while I was doing my campaings in Norway and Denmark. Altough I haven't lost the game they caught me by surprise.
