Does anyone know how to take the plague out of the game.It is just a preference,but i hate it and to me it's just a annoyance.Can someone point me in the direction to take it out?

You can't - it is already removed from the game as far as possible but during certain conditons it appears anyway [capturing settlements of certain size may trigger it in my experience]. Seemingly hard coded so its just to endure or bite the grass.
