    Default cursor actions

    Some time ago I read that it is possible to have your assassins attack your own generals by editing one of the cursor files. Can anyone tell me which file to edit and how to edit it?

    In the data folder there should be a descr_cursor_actions.txt file...Note that not all mods have this and sometimes it's in the vanilla game folder...Also note that at the top of this file is the coding for all the actions possible and I advise you read this very carefully before proceeding...Now after that look for this entry...

    This should allow you to assassinate your own agents and characters...

    EDIT; I just tested this and changing these does allow you to use the assassinate function but when the scroll opens all it says is "No valid assassination target" or some crap like that...So I can assume from that there is more to it...Sorry I haven't taken the time to test this before now so I wasn't sure if that was all that was needed or not...anyway I'll keep testing different things and see what I come up with I guess...

    well unfortunately I have open and looked through every file in the game and nothing relates to what actions can be taken on which characters except the cursor action files...and those don't seem to have any effect on who is a valid target...I'm thinking this aspect is hardcoded and can't be changed...
