Megadeth Gigantour 2012

Well chaps, today I just got back from Abbottsford BC, Canada from what was probably one of the greatest musical experiences of my life! I got to see my favourite band, Megadeth live AND meet the band members and get my picture taken with them!

i stopped 'following' Megadeth (and metal in general) years ago..how's their last album called ?

Oh man, a BIG Megadeth fan here, too (since 'So Far, So Good.. - yes, I'm old, too )!!!

I've to check when they will pay a visit to Germany!

Th1rt3en. I think that is how its spelled. Its pretty good, my favourite song so far is Never Dead.

I have about 100 photos of the event so far, i've just been too lazy to put them on an online album.

The show was incredible, all of the bands were great although my only complaint was Motorhead was SO loud I couldnt hear anything if that makes sense. I couldnt hear the guitar solos or distinguish any words Lemmi was saying because it was just too much noise! The video I took has better sound quality than my ears did, oddly enough!

And the one band I don't have a good video of, but was also really good was Volbeat. I caught 3 picks from their bass player, I kept 1 and gave the other 2 to my friends I went with.

The sad thing is Chris Broderick threw me a pick, for Megadeth's entire show I was rocking out so hard and yelling and sheet and he definately made eye contact with me several times which made me go berzerk! At the end of the show I know for a fact he threw me specifically a pick and it hit me in the eye and bounced away somewhere!!!

Yeah they were a bit different in style, but I liked them for the most part... their guy singer seems a bit like extra baggage, I think they would be better with just that hot chick, Selene I think her name is.

What's most important is that you took those videos and pictures because that's what's concerts are all about ...

I will never understand how a band like Lacuna Coil fits with Megadeth and Motorhead .

I did actually, the way I was holding my iPod I didnt really have to look through the viewfinder I just pointed and clicked, thanks for sounding so concerned though. Either way it was 6 or so hours of music, spending the entire thing going balls to the wall is also just as pointless. You sound like my friend who takes maybe 1-2 pictures of the show because he doesnt want to spend time taking pictures, he wants to "enjoy" the show. Well I can tell you I sure as hell enjoyed the show, except I have pictures and videos to remember it by as well.

Motorhead! Yes!

Motorhead rules (much better than Megadeth imo). I saw Megadeth last year and they were pretty awesome, but unfortunately I've never seen Motorhead.
