Help With My Mod (Vista Related Issue)

Allright lads;

Basically my Ab Urbe Condita mod seems to have problems with Windows Vista users - to launch it runs a batch file (which has always worked before, so I saw no need to change it). Now when it runs according to several users of the mod the batch file blacks out the screen and requires a forced restart ¬_¬

I've tried making a new batch and double checking that their game is properly installed, but to no avail.

As I said the only thing in common between the people experiencing problems is that they all use Windows Vista; Steam is NOT an issue =/

Any ideas?

Have you read Stainless Steel's downlod OP baout Vista and Win 7 concerning things like the UAC?
