I enjoy the athmosphere of the TWC forums and wish to participate further in them in the future as a Civitate. I have a background in academic ancient and medieval history and archaeology in addition to my current position as a museum conservator and try to keep myself up to date with current historical research, especially on the results of the current upsurge in medieval history, both civil and military. I am also an avid high medieval reenactor (http://www.kongshirden1308.no is my medieval group, sadly the text is still only in norwegian)

I would add that I have always found him a very level-headed, polite and informative poster whose detailed posts on a range of subjects have added greatly to TWC in recent months. His combination of detailed academic study of the medieval period, his experimental archaeology through reconstructed artefacts and his re-enactment activity give his posts a high level of detail and insight. He supports his posts with references whenever he can and is capable of debating without losing his cool.

His work on the 'Imperia Romana' mod has been invaluable and he is already part of the MTW2-Total Realism mod team. Given that, with the launch of MTW2, learned medievalists will soon be a real benefit to TWC, I'm more than happy to sponsor Ringeck as a Civitate.

I agree with everything the patron said in his paragraph. Having read many of his posts he seems like a very solid candidate that i couldnt find fault with.. only odd thing i noticed is that he has never started a thread apparently.. not that that matters or anythig.

He seems very active in the MTW2 forum in particular, offering opinions on a variety of topics which are generaly very interesting to read. A good contributor in this sense, i would likely vote yes unless someone can convince me to do otherwise
