Best Way to Add Faction-Unique Line Infantry?

Hello all,

I've had some success using DB Editor, and I was wondering what the best way to do the following would be:

I want to give unique stats to the line infantry of more factions. I understand that after the main factions (and I guess Denmark and Venice by looking at the tables), they all use the generic line infantry (or the European factions do, anyway).

I want to make several line infantry that are unique for some minor factions that replace the generic line infantry and also make this new line infantry only available to this faction. What is the best way to go about doing this?

I assume I need to create a new line infantry entry, let's say euro_line_infantry_bavaria in both the unit table and unit stats table. It will be copy/pasted from the generic entry with stats changed accordingly.

Then, in the unit faction permission table, I need to create a new entry for euro_line_infantry_bavaria and make the faction Bavaria have true availability, while I also need to create a new generic entry and make Bavaria have false availability.

Is there something I am missing? Is that correct?

Also, is there a way to see all the units available to any particular faction, particularly the minor ones?

I looked in-game at the technology tree and saw all the units that way (I assume if it is in the nation's tech tree, they can get it?). I saw that Bavaria has access to Prussian Jaegers... is this accurate? Wurttemburg has access to Windbusche Jaegers and Grenzers as well. I haven't seen either of these nations survive long enough late in the game to actually get these units, but if they did, could they recruit them?
