    anybody know how to convert from rpy to like avi im trying to make rtw movie

    You can't. You have to download a program like Fraps which basically records whatever is shown on your screen as an AVI file.

    Yeah, you have to use some program like Fraps, or the movie cam for RTW, or a combo of both (which is what I do). Plus a replay will not make a good video unless edited properly.

    I think the .rpy isn't actually a video. It is just a recording of the battle commands of both sides. Sometimes things are a little different if you replay it a couple times, because some things in the game are a little random. But most of the time, you will see a similar thing.

    and the movie cam wont render in RTW 1.5 (fine in 1.2 but not 1.5 I have found)!

    Why the hell wont it render in 1.5?! If it did my movies would be so much easier, and wouldnt have the Fraps logo at the top!

    Unfortunetly yes, dang it! Guess I will have to do with Fraps taking video at 4 fps......

    And I think the question has been answered: You cant convert a replay to a wmv format, and plus a replay wouldnt make for a good vidoo.
