ok this is driving me insane.
im new to modding i can do some simple stuff and im trying to find out how to add a new faction to bi. i already have the faction and all of its units from a different mod and its for bi.

You cannot add a new faction, you can only replace an existing one, as all faction slots are taken already.

Dear Hader,

I have just replaced my old copy of RTW with a new purchase of Rome Total War Complete Edition (includes BI & Alex)
I am making a large Mod. Until now I have built it in a separate install of RTW.
I would like to Mod folder it.
And also to play other Mods without overwriting the vanilla game.
I need to be able to base my Mod on Alex cos I need the 511 models in descr_model_battle.
Where/how should I install Alex and a Mod folder so I can achieve all this?
