    Default invisible wall on the campaign map????

    Hey, im currently playing as england, very succesfully, control all of england and spain. working my mway through the moors. Just taken settlement timbuktu for its resorces, but to my dismay the folowing places i can not reach, to the west of timbuktu is a settlement called arguin, to west of lisbon is a lone island with a settlement on it called fortaleza and north of their is the aztecs all places full of valuble resources, but for some reason i can not send my ships or troops pover there, i just get a red cross for a cursor saying invalid target position for character type, please help, i really wont those places.

    This is because these places (exept Arguin) are in America. To reach these you must wait till the world is round event (arount year 1400) build some cross Atlantic ships and sail over. You should however be able to reach Arguin by land and I think by sea.

    You have to find the 'right way' to find Arguin. It's easier to just wait until 1400'ish

    You can only reach Arguin by walking west from Timbuktu.

    iirc you can also sail down there after the world is round event with ocean going vessels

    On Arguin specifically, and because it sounds as if the topic starter is playing with the fog of war turned off, you can walk there from Timbuktu if you are patient. The trouble is that units can't move onto territory you havent uncovered yet (turning off FOW doesnt count) so if you have a stack in Timbuktu and try to make Arguin their destination, they cant get there. You need to manually move them every turn till they arrive. Incidentally you'll want to have a reasonably young and loyal general on the stack because troop loyalty can become a serious issue when captain led and miles from home.
