Sorry I don't think there is a submod like that. I know what you mean I think it's pretty funny to hear the dwaves says "Scotland"but a minor issue if you ask me, overall we are fortunate to have this wonderfully made game. FYI next time a question like this should be posted on the "Official Ask Questions" thread
Unless you know a decent voice actor...you are pretty much out of luck...Just be thankful for the voices we have to begin with![]()
You don't need to be experienced or anything to be a voice actor. Basicly anyone who isn't in puberty can do it
The same can be said about singing...However while everyone can sing...Not many can sing "well" And not many can voice act well...Most people will be crappy - cheesy - not what it should be (english accent when you need a french one etc) Plus if you have crappy recording equipment it will also sound bad as well even if you sound halfway decent...
Bah. Stupid copyrights. You're probably right about that.
I think the factor of a good equipment when recording is very important. Also if the voice acting of the elven units will be in elvish the voice actor needs to know decent Sindarin accent and good luck finding one
But it can be done. And I'd love to see that happen. Certainly everything would sound better than elves screaming: "Arrrhh! I'll cut your heart out !!"
+you need a decent mic and a silent place (hard to find these days).
I bought a mic for 5 euros three years ago, and it's perfect stillSilent place isnt so hard to find
I did the unit voices for Eriador and Dale, I've been away for a while due to various reasons, but at least for those factions I could try and do some more. I have no idea how to impliment the audio files though, kk did all that for me last time.
I thought about this too. I think the voices can be found in other middle earth games BFME/2 for example. I extracted the sound files of all units and there are many that may suit in TA. Sounds for taunting, attacking, unit responds, fleeing victory, defeat etc.. But it would take a serious amount of time to map the files to each unit TA. But it can be done, I'm sure of it. There may be some voices missing here and there but they can be found from other sources too, or even from the movies.
Almost everything from the movies is copyrighted. I'm not sure if it'd be legal to take from BFME 1&2 as EA has lost the rights to use LOTR stuff
