Animation Shuttering

My game is smooth camera is smooth no shutter or whatever
only problem is that the units are shuttering which happens with ships too
i have game on high mostly with no SSAO and the only problem is that(running 290.66)
by shuttering i mean they are lagging like game runs with 5 fps when it runs with 30
that happens when alot of units mostly are there but in other times too
my specs
Nvidia gts 450 2gb
Core 2 Duo E8400 3.6
win 7 64 bit
4gb ram ddr3
1440x900

i lowered some settings but it seems the same to me

Sorry to hear about the hospital stay. Hope everything is okay, now.

From a two yearold thread at .Com that is still being posted to, it seems Napoleon with AMD drivers will stay this way unless the Napoleon players/AMD users band together and fill their bug reports everytime new drivers are released.

CA has quit patching the game.

i heard about something to do with particle effects
i have it on high should i go with medium and try?

I have the same problem, it's even more ridiculous considering I played it for a few hours after install on ultra and it worked without a hitch, now all of a sudden constant unit stutter. All of my drivers are up to date as well.

i3-2100 3.30ghz
1GB Radeon 6850
4GB RAM

Contact AMD. It's what CA will tell you. You'll find a to-year-old thread at .Com on this.

It never hurts to try.
