    Default Additional House Rules

I'm about to start a new vanilla campaign with the English, but am wanting a bit of a twist to make things more interesting. So I'm going to migrate.... to Jerusalem. Rule 1:Establish a Crusader Kingdom consisting of Antioch, Acre, and Jerusalem.Rule 2: When these regions are 75% Catholic I will expand to capture Edessa, Aleppo and Adana. Rule 3: Defensive campaign until the Mongol Horde arrives in which the English will crush the Horde and save the West. Any idea to add?

Another idea ive been wanting to do involves either Sicily, England, Russia or Denmark. From what I've heard vikings=Norseman=Normans. So taking either Sicily or the Danes and occupying all of the other Norse or Norman Kingdoms before expanding elsewhere. Something like King Knud, King of all Norseman

I am not sure, but i do not think that the danes are related to the normans at all. One idea you could do is capture all the islands first (Rhodes, Iraklion, Sicily, Britain etc.)

The Normans were actually former Vikings. King Rollo the Viking came one day and stole some land from the French

And the Danes are one of the remnants of the old vikings The others are Norway and Sweden. The vikings even came to Constantinopel, and some served as soldiers there

Don't wanna go off topic but when we're there:

So that he can pacify them, the French king gave the vikings that raided his lands a pice of land of their own - Normandy, and he made their leader part of the French nobility. But as things were back then, the Duke of Normandy was a vassal to the French king, but also pretty independent in his decisions. So the real fun begins when Duke William, ruler of Normandy as part of France, subordenate to the French king, conquers England on his owh behalf and is proclaimed king there

They needed a 100 years war to sort things out and decide who owns who and what there

Another interesting thing about the Vikings besieged Constantinople. Carried their boats to the Black Sea and pillaged the.coast.

    For house rules:
You HAVE to do whatever the Pope and the Council of Nobles tell you to do.

maintain the supply lines: you may only conquer neighboring provinces; you may not expand from a conquered province until you repair all buildings and retrain all soldiers; no sending armies past enemy cities; only invade islands from the closest province, if you do not own the closest province you have to conquer it.
