Question about the civil war

Hey guys I'm new here and this is my first post, so please be nice

So about the civil war: I'm playing as the schytians and I was wondering when the civil war is going to happen, if it happens at all (the game is around 220-215BC). I've played countless campaings so far, but I never thought about this before. It's quite funny imo. In my previous campaings (as the greeks or macedonians or whatever) I wasnt paying attention to what the romans were doing or I simply destroyed them before the civil war era.

Btw this is my first Scythia campaing and I can say, this is probably the most tense game I've ever experienced. I'm pretty surprised, because I don't like the barbarian factions at all, and I didnt expect this campaing to be this interesting.
I've already killed Thrace and Dacia, cause they both attecked me ( I was allied with Dacia

) and before that Germania and Armenia attacked me also. And now both Macedon and the Brutii thought that I should be destroyed... I hope that the civil war will happen soon, cause I think the Brutii and the Julii is too strong for me if they both attack. And yeah the Greeks are my allies, but I know they will attack me in the end... It looks like the whole world is against me lol.

sorry mate, the civil war only happens if you play a Roman faction yourself. So, if the AI controls the Roman Factions, no civil war

Its possible if one of the Roman factions gets enough territory. Although its not totally reliable and takes a long time

But it might not happen that often, that a human player lets the AI-romans conquer two third of the map to generate a AI-civil war.

I guess a human player would have to wait with few territories in any corner of the map for 200 or more turns into the campaign until the AI would conquer all the necessary territories and it would be triggered.
