Default Warhammer uno duo(Call of warhammer 2.0)-some info from translator

That what i've read from translator:
    New things in CoW 2.0:
    -new factions(wood elves,2 bretonia factions,skavens,Khemri,free cities(Tillia and other blee blee blee),Norsk faction)
-dozens of new units(some of lizardmen mercenary)
    -new scripts
    -new heroes
    -new anims(skavens)
    -historic battles(maybe)
    -bigger map(on east and south)
    -new abilities
    -new 2D art
    -Maybe Nippon and Cathay
    -Better perfomance??
    -less ctd(cleaning useless files)...
    -Maybe english translation(after release...hehe)
-Each faction will could win the campaign(i simply don't know how call it??-strengh match???)
    -new fight system???
    -And many more...

The main things are completed(the dark omen(Yeoman)said that)release would should be close....This year or beginning of next one.
Team as always the same+some modifications from TWC friends(ex:Kahvi and Kolwen retextured settlements).

If something i'm missed add some info here Mr Werebear and dev group.

    Nippon and Cathay!?

Sigmar slap me and call me silly, but that is GREAT! to hear!

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
And although they don't have much to do with the Storm of Chaos (heck, they have nothing to do with the Storm of Chaos), I still want to see Monkey men and Onis, dang it!

Can't see how Nippon and Cathay would fit into a proper scripted campaign where there would be a point of them being there. No chance of the map stretching that far. Would have prefered the map stretching down to the desert to include Araby. Storm of Chaos, Waagh's and the wars in Estalia to free them from Araby (not the same timeframe, but good gameplay none-the-less), plus the crusades by all the Old World factions down to Araby would have made for a good campaign to base scripting on. I hope it's not going to be a big mish mash of scripts with no purpose or storyline.

Perhaps it will be bigger than the Storm of Chaos. Perhaps a provincial campaign in the Eastern Front, Hobgoblins invading Cathay and Nippon. It will really give the CoW team a chance to be creative with their mod and I for one would love to see something like that.

Of course, the possibilities of that is very, very, very, very, very slim. I think there will be a greater chance of them making a Lustria campaign than a Far East one.

Great news but just a couple of comments:
    - Shouldn't the map (campaign) be expanded to west as well, to fit better Bretonia and other western territories??(e.g. Estalia, not to mention Ulthuan...)
-I'm counting 6 new factions, but it's been said by Werebear that there're currently 26+rebels, beign the limit of the game engine in 30+rebels...so are some current factions going to be sacrificed in the altar of Khorne??

I'm realist and I draw conclusions, unfortunately....to make all these mentioned above things they need approximately 2 years but we will wait

Oh common how can they still make it Russian i just don't get some things .
1.Why are Russians playing CoW on Russian , i mean it just sucks . My language is quite similar to Russian and Something like : " Archaon, Lord of the End Times " Translated sounds very very unawesome ,actually every game ( every media ) translated from it's original language is tome blasphemy .
2.How can it be more Russian fans then un-Russian fans
    3.Modders know English i suppose

Well, this is great news, thanks for sharing Turambar and death!

But i would agree with Krystoforos, it may be a long, looong time before the 2.0 epicness. CoW team always went for quality before quantity approach and there are just too few shown units to expect a release this year.

Unless the team has a big bag of unreleased goodies just waiting to jump out and amaze us.

Maybe they only plan to include a few units from Cathay and Nippon. I dont even think there is room for all of them as factions.

Adding all of this into this one campaig is way to much IMHO. New campaign(s) in Lustria and Cathay-Nippon would be a better idea. We shall see what the future will bring to us...

I'd certainly would like a Grand Campaign instead of a scripted one. Map for the Chaos Wastes down to Araby, from Naggoroth to the Mountains of Mourn at least. Just pick your faction and dominate the known world, oldschool style

But as for scripted campaigns... As said above, Crusades into Araby would be a good theme for a new campaign. The Sundering would also make a good scenario... The Vampire Wars come to mind, or some famous Waaaagh! like Waaagh Gorbad.

The Warhammer world has so many possible scenarios that the dev team really shouldn't have any lack of inspiration.

I totally agree with you about the grand campaign ...hell! that's why this is called Total War!!

But appart from a grand campaign , it' d cool to have one or two scripted, and more area restricted campaigns...though this could be asking too much from the team, dreaming is still free

Will empire be a single faction in this version?

That would be the only way to get all of these other factions in.
