So after seeing the trailer I found this review, I've got to see it now, though I'm pissed that he gave away the part about the three billygoats.. I mean now what do I have to look forward to? ...not sure

I liked it, then again I'm biased. Then again I know some English people that likes it too so I suggest trying it out![]()
Is this in the cinema or dvd.
I like it coz its a new idea..
Only seen the first half. It's a fun film with an original premise but I felt the acting was a bit overdone in various sections.
I thought it was a great movie for what it was. The explanations of the mythology surrounding the trolls and how they fit into real life (within the movie of course) I found very engaging. A remake has already been planned for those who don't like subtitles. In fact, the remake rights were acquired the very same day that the film opened in the US.
I may not be the sharpest tool in the box, but at least I'm in the box!
I will check this movie out. Looks interesting.

Glad you liked it![]()
Out of curiosity, how did you find the Trolls?
one of the trolls in the trailer reminds me of a 'Wormy comic' version of an AD&D troll.

I just got done watching this movie. I thought it was awesome. It was a little slow paced at times but i guess it made the troll scenes better. The troll from the bridge was cool, it moved real quickly and was a fun scene to watch. I imagine when the hairy cave trolls have children they look like this:

I honestly didn't think this movie was going to get any response, so if it's got subtitles I guess I'll pick it up.
... Because the Trolls featured in Troll hunter are pretty faithful to the source materials (Norwegian fairytales) that Trolls come from in the first place![]()
Well you're wrong.
These Trolls are inspired by Norwegian fairytales that developed on the countryside and were gathered and written down in 1845. This is how Trolls were described to look like in those fairytales.

Those were "Jotun" and although a predecessors to Trolls, are not Trolls. Trolls are as they appear in the fairytales.I think the original trolls (viking-age) where more like dwarwes.
