    Default Wtf?

Is there any lower version for this mod? I mean i want to play 6.4, but the size of it frightens me and my weak computer Anyway I'm looking for a version that has a small size (the download size should be lower than 2g) and if possible contains BBB

    Thank You
Although I haven't played the 6.4 yet, i can already tell that it's fantastic

    Hey,

If file size is an issue, you could try 6.2, it has pretty much everything that 6.3/6.4 has, and imo is the best version to date. You need to download SS 6.1, - 2 part file totaling 1.3 gigabytes, then download RC4 (release candidate -4) which will bring it up to a 6.2 version, and the mini-patch for it, which are pretty small by themselves. So you're probably looking at 1.4 gigabytes. Plus i strongly recommend updating kingdoms to 1.5 if you have not already done so.

If you are worried about system requirements, if you can play M2TW, then SS shouldn't be too much more intensive.

    EDIT:

That information was slightly incorrect, the files needed are:

    Stainless_Steel_6[1].0_Pt1of2
    Stainless_Steel_6[1].0_Pt2of2
    Stainless_Steel_6[1].1_Patch
    Stainless_Steel_6.2_RC4
    Mini patch for rc4

Pretty sure thats correct now, i have files floating all over the place.

I'd like to disagree if i may. Because of the scripting on the battlemap SS is much heavier to run than vanilla MTWII. It's why I regularly play vanilla - to fantasize about how cool it would be if SS ran that smoothly

Well, the rest of us play SS to fantasise about how cool it would have been if vanilla had been that good.

Buying more memory is HIGHLY recommend, it also makes you computer faster. To get best possible speed (by free memory) you should have 50GB free space in you C drive, 10GB already slows your computer.
Apologies for anyone who's message i may miss or not be able to answer

In this day and age not having a feww 100gb of free space is inexcusable.

This is rather judgemental. Computer games are just computer games, not the be-all and end-all. Not everyone requires a few hundred gigabytes of free space, or wishes to spend money on it. It's about priorities - some people just aren't into computers as much as other people, and while they enjoy games now and then, they don't bother that much with all the mod cons.

    true that
Īnfrānt nu eşti atunci cānd sāngeri,
nici ochii cānd īn lacrimi ţi-s.
    Adevăratele īnfrāngeri,
    sunt renunţările la vis.

A 1 TB HD costs what 70-90 so a 200GB is cheap as ing chips. Its not hard to install all you do is just plug it in.
