Getting a bug when I try to launch the game

Anyone here encountered the same thing and managed to get around it?

M2TW always says that to me when I launch the game. Just continue

When I press "Continue" it just reappears over and over again

God damn it, I'm getting this error as well.


Just got a new laptop, installed Kingdoms, then downloaded and installed third age. The third age folder created its own "mods" folder inside the original "mods" folder. I moved the third age folder into the original "mods" folder and renamed it "teutonic", calling the old "teutonic" folder something else.

Now, I've done this before on other a few other laptops but it's not working this time.


I get the normal error, but when I click continue, the total war window contains 6 "button 1" icons and the middle says I need an internet connection to connect with the game. (which is bs ofc, I can play third age without internet) Every time I hoover my mouse above the 6 icons, I get a new error message.

Any ideas?

Problem solved! Directx11 installed and it's working.
