    Default Marriage mechanism

Hi, in my islamic faction campaigns, I have problem with finding wives to my FH and other royal members. Because there are no princesses, I just can't marry my faction heir as I wish. I have to wait for random marriage event but this doesn't come. Husbands for girls keep coming but no wives. I always decline husband offers as I don't want their children ( because of unique faction trait ).

I want to learn that if there is a general rule about marriage offers ? Like starting from the leftmost member ? Also, in my games, I felt that when I declined a marriage offer for someone, new offers don't come for different members but comes for the same person over and over again. Doesn't marriage offer skip someone when I have just reject offer for him ?

As far as im concerned, the marriage rule in this game is bullcrap. It does whatever the hell it wants. They say that if you want marriages, conquer more territories and dont accept adoptions but that seems to never work as I had like 25 territories and 6 generals and no marriage offers for forever. Trust me, it just does what it wants. What I do is download the royal ladies of the court mod and marry my faction heirs son quickly. Marry your faction heirs son before he becomes faction heir as you cant marry him then anymore. Good luck

I solve my problem with Christian factions by searching for princesses but Islamic factions are doomed to lose their blood trait. Does RLC add princesses to muslim factions as well ?

damn ... I also had some questions regarding marriage, royal bloodline etc. and asked them here http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...=514357&page=3
so my faction's heir (that is now the Emperor) son (he is heir now) is not married (and he is 27 if this matters) can't get married ?

No RLC doesnt have princesses for muslim factions for historical reasons. Sorry bud but Islamic factions like you said are doomed to have the royal seat passed to f-ing cousin bob. And yeah I used to hunt for princesses with Christian nations but I find RLC better as your bloodline can be completely pure.

My problem with RLC is that half the time the princess that spawns has no name. I suppose it's not technically a breaking thing, but it's just annoying.
"When I lead my army against Baghdad in anger, whether you hide in heaven or in earth, I will bring you down from the spinning spheres; I will toss you in the air like a lion. I will leave no one alive in your realm; I will burn your city, your land, your self. If you wish to spare yourself and your venerable family, give heed to my advice with the ear of intelligence. If you do not, you will see what God has willed." -Hülegü, the "Destroyer of Baghdad"

Yeah the maker of RLC mentioned that and he said he tried to reduce it as much as possible. The only thing we can do is just wait for newer patch but it really effectively solves the marriage problem for Christian nations in this game

if u don't care about history:
    C:\Games\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods\SS6.4 - Basic Install\data
go to your data folder (sub ss6.4-basic install for ss6.3)

    open descr_sm_factions

go to your faction of choice and change the

can_have_princess line to yes instead of no.
