Default How can I know, if I'm not fighting against a noob?

Ah, for pony sake, I just lose my will to play this game, because, most of the players, who say, that they're good, are actually noobs or rule breakers, who doesn't even know, what's CWB or TWPL
Is there some sort of magical question, which only pros can answer?
Also, is there any normal clans, who are recruiting and making some really nice tournaments and stuff?

You will not get recruited into any decent clan without a try out. If you don't join a clan then you will be forced to play noobs 90% of the time, the other 10% compromising the odd good non clanny, and the weaker clannies or those from noob clans.

    List of good clans:

HoS-(but slayer just made liking him a requirement to join :p)
    TAoW

HoS and TAoW are really only for experienced clan players.

    Hell
    Sith-inactive though
    Coh
    SM-don't see many sm on
    SoA
DoW-lol jk, they got ed over
    GoTW-not incredibly active

There are probably some other, but I can't think of any other decent clans right now

GoTW is reasonably active I think. Sith is on the decline but they seem to be getting into S2 if you're into that stuff. Iskender just applied for Sith, though. SM is decently active as well, but they just lost Saint.

    There are a few things which will give you a clue before joining a game;

People who host games and put cwb or twpl into the game's name usually know
those rules and usually do not break them (sure you'll find a black sheep once in a while but..)

    Unit size:
"huge" = these players usually do care more for visual epicness than for pro gameplay
"large" = they still can't get rid of the epicness factor so they think large is a good alternative
"normal" = those are the ones you are looking for

And then there's this thread by Max, showing how to not be a noob - have a look into it
and maybe you can figure out on your own who's worth playing or not.

Join a clan Kensai, then host clan only games. You will cut down on the amount of noobs you play dramatically.

Is it just me, or my quote button stopped working? T_T (Or, I'm doing something wrong)
I just press that [Quote] thingy, but it can't seem to work T_T
