Says there's one on the box I got here. The hardcopy I bought. 2 Years ago? What's the word.

Which translates to - there is no unit editor as advertised on the game case, was never released and never will be.
Good thing Shogun2 has so much unit diversity!
some have tried and settled out of court. i suggest more people do the same and complete deplete them of their ill gotten gains.
the most effective way is a class action lawsuit. this way they can't just settle with easy sums of a few hundred. after all, lawyer expenses would already exceed that

I would settle with a better map for NTW.
alhoon is not a member of the infamous Hoons: a (fictional) nazi-sympathizer KKK clan. Of course, no Hoon would openly admit affiliation to the uninitiated.
"Angry Uncle Gordon" describes me well.

Yea "false advertising" is the word right there.......unbelievable.
Me to I don't believe it is on the box
No, it's not on the box but ...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Napoleon:_Total_War
One of the features advertised for Napoleon was a uniform editor. Upon release CA announced that the uniform editor would be delayed; while it was not advertised "on the box", it was advertised as a feature by all online retailers (including Steam) and the official game website. Five months after Napoleon: Total War's release, mention of the uniform editor was removed from the game's list of features on its official website; it is, however, still being advertised on most online retailers selling the game. Almost eight months after the game's release, Mike Simpson stated that the original uniform editor was never meant for public use, and that CA was making a unit editor capable of both editing and creating new units. This new unit editor was scheduled to be released in the first quarter of 2011.[16] To date no further reference to the uniform editor has been made and it is now seen by fans to be unlikely released in the future.
When you visit this link read and scroll down to "Cutting-edge multiplayer"..........this was on the package. I remembered seeing this after I threw the box away. And the unit editor thing was the only reason why I bought the game. But later I read that they excused the unit editor because of something like it only edited the colors of a unit, I dunno I just came across that from some random site,I have no idea how true that is but I'm just glad we can mod this awesome half ass game given the tools from the contributors here, all is appreciated, sorry Steph I'm not trying to prove you wrong on any personal level,I just thought I'd share what I remembered seeing on the package. http://www.jbhifionline.com.au/game/...edition/473541

If it's a uniform editor, then it should include putting together different parts of uniforms into one for your new unit, with an Austrian torso, Ottoman trousers, beards, etc, etc.
Too bad CA removed this from their to-do list, I need an easy-working uniform editor to make a mod I'm planning![]()
True
Well, you can't add a uniform part from another faction to another (at least that's what I've heard).
