General disobeyed orders..game over?

Hey everyone!
I'm actually at a early era campagin with the crusader states@BGRIV. It went fine until the turks laid a siege on edessa. They only count 200 spears so I decided to break out. (how unchivalrous!)
Next mistake was to claim ransom money for about 90 men who was captured. The turks refused and they get massacred. (Order: Spare all prisoners)
From this point on the affected general got a summons. His loyalty dropped down to zero and two additional generals had their loyalty also wiped out. Now they are sitting in Jerusalem for about five turns and nothing changes. I thought they will be rehabilitated if they had their detention..

Any help is appreciated!

Only The offending general needs to comply with his punishment, whatever it is, then things will return to normal for everyone else after a turn or two.

Or don't make him comply with his punishment and you will have the option to pardon, which may or not be accepted, with or without some penalty.

So in your case The offending general, if not pardoned, must now remain at the capital. The other two should return to normal loyalty.

how long do I have to wait for this? I tried to get him to the capital asap..because his supporter..or what the other low-loyalty-generals would be called..caused riots in their cities.

I think the pardon option is available the turn after a general is in defiance of orders. You can't pardon if the noble complies with the punishment because pardons are about the king giving in due to weakness, not changing his mind out of kindness.

Refer to the manual or search the bgr thread. Lots of info on this stuff there.

Punishment lasts forever unless you pardon or king dies.
