Icon3 My idea for the dominion of men

This idea is for the Elven faction at the Dominion Of men. I think at the elven faction there should be lot of Half-Elves or Half-Elven people. Because i think the only way the elves could have survived if they mated lot with the human. Thus at some point at the campaining there would be lot of Half elven solders and commanders. With the commanders (Generals , or I dont remeber how they were called.) Have the option of being more elven or more human. If they would be elven , they cities would be more happy. If the would be more menish. They would be bettere warriors , but could more easly rebel. In ether way they would have spesific traits only for the men , or elven people. And also i think this would be to the diplomats to , there would be half-elven diplomats . If they would be more manish they would be more easly negotiating with men , but elven , they would be more easly bribing and stuff like that. And also Half elven spys , if they would be elven they would be more easly caught , but more sucsessful at gathering information and sabotagion. If they would be menish , they would be less , change for caught , but not goood at getting information. Woah typed a lot , but i just got this idea. =) Have a good day

Unfortunately, the elves did not have relationships with humans except in extremely rare cases (Beren and Luthien, Earendil and Elwing, Aragorn and Arwen). Much more likely, and common, where men who were 'elf-friends', those who loved the elves, and aided them or even served them. The FATW team is basing the elven factional recruitment on an elven/elf-friend basis.

And why would an elven diplomat need to bribe a man?

Ok. Here is your answer why to bribe a man. Imagine a situation you have a Very huge army attacking your village . And you have very very very small army that isnt good. So the diplomat could bribe the attackers to not to attack. But i still think at some half-elves should be in the game. Like some commanders , and because they are half elves they should give the commanders some pretty nice traits , espesscialy when attacking men , cuz your half men and you know , what the manish race stragies are .

I'm afraid most of the things you propose are either not possible on the engine or not consistent with the lore. Half-elves were extremely rare in Middle-earth. The only ones (probably) alive in the 4th age would be Elrond's sons. We could certainly do sth about them.

Well at the 4th age this is indeed true, though one wonders what was going on in Belfalas when the Númenoreans there mixed themselves with the elves, and to what extent one wonders. The men of Dol Amroth were described as noble, fair and people said that their lords had elven blood in their veins

Including the sons of Elrond could be interesting. With the exception of them the only 'famous' Elves still left in Middle Earth by this time in the Fourth Age are Cirdan the Shipwright and Thranduil (was Glorfindel still around?)

Sure, the lords have a tiny bit of Elven blood in their line, but that's not enough to make them half-elves; let alone the entire population of DA. They were simply of purer dunedanic blood.

There's no lore on when Glorfindel left or on what the choice of the twins were and if/when they left, so we are free to speculate here...
