recomended unit size and marian centurions

Is there any recomended unit size for playing EB. I usualy prefer to play on large but I do not want my and AI cities grow too fast. Anybody knows for which unit size is EB balanced?

My other question is if there is any any fix or submod which change the imperial centurions for marian legions to proper ones.

I prefer to play on Large unit size. It's something my computer can handle and something I can handle. I think playing on Huge would have been less entertaining.

There is also the thing about phalanxes: AI loves to spam phalanx units and if it brings enough of them in a battle on Huge, the phalanx can stretch from one corner of the battlefield to the other, making it impossible to outflank. Not really my brand of vodka.
