I think not. It shouldn't affect your EB at all.
I'm using BI engine for EB![]()
I'd start a new thread but... this one's here already. I don't know how to get EB working on Alex. I've tried redirecting the target in properties, but it seems making the target anything other than EBTrivialScript - what the default target was - causes EB not to work. I'm sure there's something very obvious I'm missing. Any help would be appreciated.
Check here?
I beat back their first attack with ease. Properly employed, E's can be very deadly, deadlier even than P's and Z's, though they're not as lethal as Paula Abdul or Right Said Fred.

I followed what XSamatan said "You have to create a new shortcut to Rome-TW.exe and edit the target line there, not the one of Trivial Script." and got the same error as before. It opens, but immediately CTDs and says "Failed to read censored word dictionary file: eb/data//chat_filter.san" I thought maybe installing the 1.2 fixes would work, but I just tried that and it still said the same thing.
Ah, that'd be why I couldn't find it. I didn't think to look in the Alexander folder. Is it possible that the application thinks that chat_filter is in, as the error message said, EB/data? I'm thinking it may need to be redirected or that san file moved, although honestly I'm very inept when it comes to PC know-how.
I just looked at the thread title tbh, didnt actualy read the thread.

with all the time you spend on these forums one would think you'd actually be reading the threads
o well
Sorry for kinda hijacking your thread, Godstatus. Also, meh, I'm sure I'll be happy with the Vanilla engine for EB.
ya my was op was 30 words
ur replies here amount to prolly 100
get a clue
Now now, keep the bickering to a minimum. But on a serious note, does anyone actually have any idea why my game can't read chat_filter.san?
Nevermind, I fixed it. It was a simple process of moving chat_filter.san from alexander\data to eb\data ^_^
I did and even tried the things suggested there, but none worked because the problem was that the game couldn't read the chat_filter.san file, and moving said file to EB\data fixed that problem.
