I can't start a save game or a new game in N:TW or Shogun. I'm getting crashes. I have done the verify game cache thing with N:TW, always seems to be one file that needs to be downloaded... run it several times one after the other... always one file.? I'm not talking about the Beta update bug that hit several days ago , I got that sorted. I haven't changed anything ... I don't get it....
"My God, I wish we had the 9th Australian Division with us this morning."

"Australian troops had, at Milne Bay, inflicted on the Japanese their first undoubted defeat on land. Some of us may forget that, of all the allies, it was the Australians who first broke the invincibility of the Japanese army."
    — Field Marshal Sir William Slim.

I have the same problem, and I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game. The first time this happened, about a week ago, I was able to play after fulfilling the "loadfix" fix (i.e., join the beta test of Steam, or whatever it is called). But that option is no longer available.

I hope someone has some suggestions. This is the only game I am unable to play, and I am sure Steam is the culprit. I just don't know what to do about it.

    Thanks,
