Typical American propaganda. Not only totally biased but also totally inaccurate, there are not 20 seconds without a historical mistake (just look the map of Europe at 1:49, not a single country with right borders... but at least they didn't show Africa or Australia at the place of Europe...).
Even North Korea wouldn't be able to make this kind of crap...

And don't be surprised if the period 1792-1814 is only 3 minutes, while Waterloo is 7 minutes (whitout a word about Blucher and the Prussian army) in this 10 minutes long cartoon...

Hilarious satire my friend. I'm only curious as to why this is in the historical research center?

You should have phrased your presentation as "Check out this historically accurate documentary! Man, Kids WB sure presents history in a fun and exciting way. They totally need to make this show a part of every history class's teaching material!"

This is totally interesting to see the vision of the Napoleonic wars in different countries (the USA here).
That's why this is in the historical research center.

Histeria was a cartoon made by the same people who made the Animaniacs. Look at any episode and I'm sure you'll see tons of errors. It was never meant to be a source of accuracy. That would be like referring to Rocko's Modern Life as an accurate presentation of modern lifestyles. Heck, the old man is Father Time. And the lady in red is called Miss Information. Have fun with the show, it's pretty funny.

Actually, in my case at least, the Napoleonic Wars only occurred as background to the War of 1812. Which was the IMPORTANT war, because America was involved. The Napoleonic Wars were just a bunch of silly European antics where some short Frenchman went and got himself frozen in Siberia.

Your irony demonstrates exactly what this cartoon shows...

I especially like the implication that Napoleon invaded Russia in winter.

I mean, good God. Do people REALLY think that June is winter in Russia?

Yes, a cartoon that doesn't place absolute emphasis on historical accuracy ... outrageous.

I don't know if this is true but apparently Yosemite Sam isn't a historically accurate representation of a Cowboy.

That's not a question of being oversensitive, but this crap is made in the way to teach History to American children.
    That's all.
Saying that this crap has not been made in the way to teach only because this is a cartoon is wrong.

Go onto Youtube and look up any video on the War of 1812. I'll bet you a dollar half the comments will be Americans being butthurt over the trolling Europeans.

Shogun Katsumi has a point as well. The show bills itself as 'edutainment'. While I appreciate that they can't be 100% accurate in all things, they could at least try to avoid the blatantly false stereotypes, like Napoleon being short and invading Russia in winter.

And the British wearing blue uniforms for some reason...

What? We won the war of 1812.

Andrew Jackson whipped the British army at N'Orleans forcing Britain to sign a humiliating treaty.

Whatever your opinion on the outcome of the war, it does not change the fact that many Americans get ridiculously uppity about it. Much as many British people get quite uppity when you impugne the reputation of their dear Wellesley.

    It's one of those things.
