Best LOTR mod?

It seems there are four.

This one, as well as 3 mods for Rome, the Fourth Age: Total War, Lord of the Rings: Total War and Middle-Earth: Total war.

What is the difference between them and which is the best?

I'd like to try one out.

I've only played TATW, but the difference between them all is that TATW is for a newer game, and therefore has a better engine, better models, custom settlements etc

In my opinion,Lord of the Rings: Total War is best of the 4,because it has an excellent units variety and the battles are epic because of the units stats. Very well Balanced. But it's only my opinion,please guys, don't kill me
My suggestion,is to try them all. The main difference between these mods are that LOTR and TATW are based on the movies,but FATW and METW are based on the books.

This is going to be closed, you'll obviously also get a majority of people saying TATW here (wich is without a doubt the best)

What is the difference between them and which is the best?

The best one is the one you like the most but you'll have to reach that conclusion on your own or through private correspondence at least.

It's not hard to look at a few screenshots and read the feature lists.
