Default NTW mod where all the factions spoke English

Would you like to have an NTW mod where all the factions spoke English but with an authentic accent for each nation?
There are many things that impress me about NTW and one of those things both impresses me and annoys me. The fact that CA went to the trouble and expense of having units of each nation speak in their native language is commendable and unique. The problem for me is that I only speak English. I would very much like to hear them say the words in English so that I knew what they were saying. Yes, you can approximate what they are saying but I would like to know exactly what they are saying. So if you agree or disagree with me please participate in the poll.

I have the resources to provide voices in English with accents and all I would need is the exact English translation of each phrase uttered and a tutorial on how to enter the new voices into a sound mod. I am willing to do this simply to help other members of this site enjoy the experience. I believe that would be a significant contribution for the members of the site. Your poll vote will tell me if I’m right.

Simple. The voices ALL says the same thing.
Take a voice sound in English (uk folder in sound.pack). Look for the same file name in another folder (fr folder for instance). The sentence is a direct translation in another language.
So if you want to do your mod, just take the English voices, and say exactly the same with your accent, and replace the file with same name in other language name and you are done.
    But
    1) it's a LOT of work, you have hundreds of voice if you include the idle sounds
    2) Producing voices with the same quality as CA is difficult
    3) The voices are screwed by mods. Anytime you change something for units, the voices are offset. So your mod would work only for the vanilla game (i.e. don't change the units, just change the voice sound files).
    4) If you just want the voices in English, and don't really care about the accent, there is a much easier and very fast way to do it.

    My personnal conclusion:
    - either go for full immersion and keep the voices in their local language
    - or just modify it so everyone is speaking English. Adding accent is IMO a very long and tedious work with little added value.

    Steph,
Thanks you so much sir for your reply and information. I now understand. I had assumed many of the phrases were identical but hoped there was some unique aspects. I have the resources for professional recording and was not looking to produce an amature mod, but one thing you point out is true. As you add mods it does seem to put voices out of sequence and some units are clearly saying things that do not realate to the new units. I added an excellent mod by Emperor Batman 999 and the new skirmishers say the line from the horse artilery.

So you may be right, perhaps the attempt would be pointless because it would be expensive and then those problems would still exist.
    Thank you sir

No, its a DIRECT translation, including a WRONG translation some times.
"Light foot" is translated in french into "Pied léger", which is completly wrong here (Pied = foot, light = léger).

I only know a bit of conversational French. Cheval is hores right? So I thought I heard one of the newer light infantry skirmishers created by Emperor Batman999 say horse atrtilery when I moused over them.

Regardless, thanks for you very sensible response. I will put my efforts elsewhere.

    Steph,
As I said originally in my post with the poll, the poll wold tell me if it was worth doing and so far it seems everyone is happy as it is.
