Re: patch 1.5 issue
Something tells me Brusilov has this figured out.
I have it in C:\Program Files(x86)\Activision and it works for me.
Brus has it in a folder lieC:\Games and it works for him.
Try his. It's safer.

Re: patch 1.5 issue
i moved it outside of program files in the c folder and it is still not working.
I also experimented with moving it to the desktop and i am still having the same problem... i am actually starting to think even 1.3 failed. is there no way to manually get the contents out of that application and directly update the game? these launcher are obviously outdated and buggy there must be an alternative...

Re: patch 1.5 issue
The only alternative is Steam and not a good one in my opinion.
The best way to move this old thing is uninstall it delete the folder, run a registry cleaner, reboot, and reinstall it. The uninstaller is worse than the installer and they both show their age.

Re: patch 1.5 issue
what is a registry cleaner? is it something in the CD options (you know the window pop thing) or is it a windows application?
i will do anything that does not involve steam...that thing is like the anti-christ of all things modded.

Re: patch 1.5 issue
Registry cleaner is like many members' favorite Ccleaner and my favorite Eusing Free Registry Cleaner.
Ca's uninstallers do not remove the registry entries. We have to do the job.
If you have never used one, don't be surprised with all the things it finds.
