Can't launch, missing .bat
Haven't played BC in months as I had to operate on my computer -- back up on external, wipe it, reinstall a new version of windows, reinstall. I put everything back exactly where it was (as far as I know) and have no trouble with my M2TW install or other mods, but I cannot launch BC.
Looking in the mods directory (see attached) I do not see the launch .bat file that the desktop launcher is looking for. ["C:\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods\Broken_Crescent_kingdoms\bc_launch.bat"]
Assuming that's the issue, how do I obtain/generate another one, or is there some other issue -- the launcher is wrong? (it might in fact be a shortcut from another version of BC).
I'm still on 2.3 and looking to restore that installation, before updating to 2.23 later.
thanks for any help!

Hmm, strange you've lost it...
Use the attached one instead.

Re: Can't launch, missing .bat
That fixed that problem, thanks!
... but now "windows cannot find kingdoms.exe" after I launch (without the previous .bat error). This is all very strange, but I guess different mods are installed differently. For example I have no trouble launching and playing Third Age which I recently updated to 3.1.
Any suggestions?
