i was playing as france, and when i clicked the end turn ( it was turn 2), the following nation got stuck, i mean that it made no moves and they havent finished the second turn. that freeze can take hours and still no moves. is it normal?

It happened sometimes when I played vanilla (=unmodded version) but then I started using mods. Now that I think of it, it might have been becuase of my crappy graphicscard as well![]()
which mods do you recommend me? and with mods, does that get fixed?
As I said, it's more likely becuase of an outdated graphicscard, but if youlike your games tougher or would like more RPG this mod is greatLINK
the graphic card is not my problem, i can run shogun 2 without problem. can a mod fix my problem?
Yep I agree with Sursion. Just re laod your auto save and it should work itself out. If it doesn't hey you were only on turn 2 right!?![]()
yep turn 2, i just have to reload the auto save or the "custom save" like: france 2 campaign.? to install mods, do i have to make a special folder related to the mod?

When you install mods they automaticly (?) make a new folder in your main M2TW folder![]()
but every mod has an .exe?
Most of them uses batch files
i dont quite get it. to install a mod, i have to create a folder and place the mod in there?
For most mods there are installers that do all of that by themselves. Anyway you need the Kingdoms expansion for most of them, and it creates the folder for mods automaticly
now i get it. if i want to play satinless steel, does it have a specific launcher, or i have to run the medieval2 exe or the kingdoms exe.
ive also heard about unpacker stuff, what is that. i have kingdoms installed if this info helps

Your closeDownload Stainless steel to a folder or even just to your desktop. Once it is downloaded you will have the option to install it to your medieval 2 folder or where ever you have placed that medieval 2 folder. It will install where you direct it and also place a shortcut on your desktop. You then would clink on the shortcut to play that mod stainless steel in this case. The Kingdoms allowed mod creators to use information from medieval 2 and kingdoms to make a more complete mod expierence.
The unpacker is only necessary for you if you want to go in and make major changes to medieval 2. An example would be adding another faction to the ones provided. I would recommend staying out of doing any unpacking until you've had a chance to learn how the game works and enjoy the mods![]()
I personally don't like to mod because then I know what is going to happen![]()
Stainless Steel 6.3/6.4 requires Kingdoms 1.05 to be installed before even installing it. Read its download page about how to download and install it and what it's requirements are.
i still have problems with the campaign turn. also, it doesnt appear how much a building costs
i think so, but im not sure. i guess that if i reinstall it may help, but my dvd lector isnt working well.
A reinstall sounds almost like a must even if you have to buy a new dvd-rom first or buy a digital copy from Steam.
