    Default A.I. Predispositions

I am sure that many of the modders on these forums have at one time taken a walk through the descr_strat file - I know I have.
My question is this: At the top of each faction segment, there is a line which (depending on the faction) says "Stalin" "Napoleon" etc.
I assume that these dictate some of the AI incorporated by each faction during the game. If so, does anyone know what each title represents (ex: Napoleon = Faction which tends to expand its borders), and if this could significantly change the way in which different factions related to one another in game?

This thread on the guild seems to explain what each term means:

It is quite old so there could well be some more recent research as well.

The ai setting in descr_strat are a useful thing to edit, as the link makanyane posted shows how each of the different ones leads to different building and recruitment predispoitions, and some combinations are best for certain factions. this is what i use in TE:

    romans - craftsman caesar
    gaul - comfort stalin
    briton - trader napoleon
    german - balanced caesar
    thrace - fortified caesar
    greek - sailor napoleon
    macedon - fortified napoleon
    scythia - comfort genghis
    dacia - religious mao
    egypt - sailor napoleon
    seleucid - bureaucrat napoleon
    pontus - crafstman caesar
    armenia - balanced henry
    parthia - religious henry
    carthage - religious napoleon
    spain - comfort mao
    baktria - balanced napoleon
    epirus - bureaucrat caesar

    Building biases:
sailor is good for factions such as Egypt and the Greeks as they have the possibility for large sea trade. Balanced is the lovely all round for when you are not sure what each faction should have, religious is useful if you have factions who need temples to produce some of their best troops. Comfort makes the ai consolidate, and make sure the populace is happy so it does not have unrest problems. Craftsman is good if a faction has few unit types and needs upgrades to help it compete.

    Recruitment biases:
Most of the phalanx nations use napoleon as it produces mainly infantry with cavalry support, though caesar is also good for phalanx nations, and means the ai builds a small amount of siege equipment. Mao is the best for some barb factions as it produces massed troops, though mainly light infantry. Henry is best for the eastern nations as it produces a mix of cavalry types, genghis produces mainly missile cavalry.

Thanks a lot, to both of you. This should be a very interesting thing to play with.

What about for BI? Does anyone have any recommended AI predispositions for the BI factions?
