Icon5 The dark side of Princesses?

Well for the first time I have got two royal princesses at once - one from my king and one from my royal heir (they are the only ones you can control by the way).

In real life if you married a princess to a royal heir of another country, you could possibly lose your country to their issue if you have no heirs (eg Scotland "conquered" England this way). I have a board game called "Blood Royale" which was all about this sort of thing, it really brought out how chancy marrying a princess to somebody from another country was when life expectancy was so short. Your own heir dies, leaving the Princess's son/daughter the next in line, so they inherit two countries.
    Can this happen in MTW2?

What happens if you successfully marry your princess to an enemy general, do they suddenly join your faction with all their troops and possessions? Can you lose one of your generals and his troops to an enemy princess this way?

If you marry a princess to a disloyal general I know it boosts his loyalty but this is likely to create a rival claimant for the throne - is he likely to start a revolt against you?

What's the worst thing a princess has done to you?

the marriage thing taking over other territories/countries they have in Bellium Circus 6.2 or was it 6.3, anyways one of those....haven't seen it anywhere else.

I lost one of my 'heirs' to one once that really hurt. Son of the prince, but my king was old about to die, and my prince was basically de facto king already and I had just spent probably 20 or more turns (2 turns per year) training up this guy making him awesome, when poof, he was stolen. Also ended that run of king-son i had going for that game as all his siblings were girls ugghhhh....still bitter about it.

No, "Blood Royale" is about conquering 13 -14th century Europe (mainly Britain and France) through conquest and diplomacy, but mainly through marriage, and it helps to have access to some sort of blackboard so you can draw up a big enough diagram of all your relatives . I've only played it a few times as it only works with several players and even then I think it is of more interest to women than men .

Inheritance doesn't exist in M2TW. It's possible that some mods have this feature, as described above.

Increasing the loyalty decreases the chance the character will turn rebel.

it would be awesome if you had a princess who was heamophiliac. you then marry it to another faction's king, and within 50 turns the family is extinct :p

yes, he suddenly joins your faction, but without any additional money/troops, you get just him and, obviously, his bodyguards
and for the second one: I don't think that the AI uses his princesses to steal enemy FM's, he only uses them as diplomats

If you marry your Princess to a Prince from another Faction, it can end up glitching your family tree out if he becomes the King. You still have generals, but you won't be able to see them on the tree

It's probably a good thing it doesn't exist in standard Medieval II, either... because I have a feeling it would be pretty abuseable (as it can be in Europa Universalis III).
