Difficulty
So I have read that you should play on M/M.
Well what I am asking is it ok to play on higher difficulty?
Is it even possible to win on VH/VH?
Does it mess with the AI if I put it on VH campaign?
Ty for help I am totally loving this mod!

Re: Difficulty
Both the campaign and the battles are balanced for medium/medium setting.
I wouldn't recommend changing the campaign difficulty, as it may have some weird and unintended effects.
However, I can't see any reason why you shouldn't be able to choose any other difficulty for your battles if you wish. Again, this mod has already been balanced for medium for battles aswell, but you could always try

Re: Difficulty
I'd suggest only trying a harder difficulty if you're very sure of yourself. I usually play on H/H in RTW so I put it on this and was getting hammered by Carthage, the Greeks in Sicily and the Gauls from the north all in the same turn. I was wondering why I couldn't kill the Carthaginian Armoured Elephants as well. Then I read that the game was balanced for M/M and that mixed with my inexperience in dealing with Elephants explained that.
But yeah, I'd suggest trying a harder difficulty if you want to, but expect it to be very challenging and, as always, be prepared to sacrifice places if you need to. One thing I learned was that on H/H I had no hope of holding Messana, as the army I could have sent there was needed to fend off Carthage.

Re: Difficulty
Oh well.
While it seems easy at first and with the fix from 7.0 forward that prevents superfaction it is certainly a much easier game while being alot of fun, keep in mind that there are not only Gauls and Carthage. The last thing you want is proper German army on VH battle difficulty. Even on M they can be tricky to defeat especially with lots of their cavalry. On VH, their berserkers will demolish your legion halfway before you deal with them.
If you play by house rules, youll be in trouble. If not, the difficulty is pointless anyways.
