    Default RTW on single-core CPU? - Better title, sorry for DP

    Is there any way to get this game running on only one core if you have quad? I'm dying to play it again, but I just can't bare the constant stuttering I'm experiencing in battles. It's unbearable -.-

    I play all other TW-titles on ultra settings, no problems =/

    I did some research, and the conclusive answer I found was that the game actually runs worse than crap on multicore CPU's. So that's why I'm asking. If you can bypass this, or run it in some kind of compatibility mode?

    The game does run on only one core and no way to bypass it.


    If you want to find the balance between playability and eyecandy, or whole hog or none, is your choice because this game is old enough you won't get both.

    I was afraid that was the case =/ oh well! Thanks anyway. I guess one always can hope for some kind of renovation from CA's side xD
    Or that the next title will be Rome II - TW ^^
