    Default Accessing totalwar.com

I have been trying to enter the totalwar website, but I am getting a screen that is telling me I have to have flash player 8 installed and javascript enabled, I am sure that I have flash player 8 installed and I was pretty sure that I had javascript enabled.

Could someone point me in the right direction to discover if I have Javascript enabled, I have been looking in tools>internet options>advanced but cannot find it and also is the totalwar site having any problems.

    Thanks

Look and see if you have a java folder in Windows.

If not..go to sun java and download the newest update or version.

I have this same problem, and I don't know what to do either... I have a Java folder, I've gone to the Macromedia website and clicked to download the flash player, I don't get prompted for anything like I usually do but the little graphic spins around and says I have Successfully downloaded the Flash Player. I've also updated my Java in Internet Options and I've made sure that it has been turned on everywhere I can think of... Any suggestions?

Edit: I'm also sure this is in the wrong forum.

I never could figure out how to fix this, so i always keep IE in reserve for such occasions, maybe you should do the same.

    Hi,

I actually managed to fix this problem yesterday after spending probably an hour at various times over the past couple of weeks trying to download flash player 8 from the official macromedia website. This website was telling me that I had downloaded it successfully and that it would either be working or that I would need to restart my machine to get it to work.

As those of you who have had trouble accessing totalwar.com after following the link to download flash player 8, it has for some reason not worked. The upshot of this is that I yesterday googled flash player 8 download and came up with the following link.

    www.softwarepatch.com/internet/flash.html

This enables you to download a stand alone version that you can then install manually on your machine, this has fixed my problem & I hope that it can fix your problem.

If after downloading this you are still not able to access totalwar.com and are using IE if you go into the tools>internet options>security you can enable javascript in there.

I hope this has helped you all.

    Thanks
