    Default After BI

I was thinkin gof this, but unfotunatly, im not a modder, so i thought that i would throw this idea out there. I was thinking about something along the lines of the aftermath of Barbarian invasion. with the western roman empire gone, the visigoths in italy, the vandals in spain and africa, etc. The factions and units would be easy to do because most of the factions that would be used already exist in BI.

However, in ATW you will be able to play the "Battle of Britain" just after the collapse of the WRE.

I am currently working on a Mod called 'Roma Surrectum'...the first part of which deals with the years 476-700AD. It's a one man mod, however, and is taking a lot of time. I haven't been using a lot of reskins, except where people said anyone could, so I've pulled a lot of units out of BI and distributed them to various factions. The hardest thing has been getting rid of the greek and egyptian look and units so that they can be used as other factions. Don't think it'll ever be a complete 'new look' cause it's so much work.
    The factions are as follows:

Imperivm Romanvs (surviving Eastern Empire, romans_brutii)
Imperitores Romanvs (Senate converted to 'Roman Emperor')
Kingdom of Pontus (longtime ally of Rome)
    Armenia (also an ally)
    Gassanids (seleucid)
    Saracen Rebels (Egypt)
    Sassanid Empire (parthia)
    Kingdom of the Vandals (carthage)
    Mauretania (numidia)
    Kingdom of the Visigoths (spain)
    Kingdom of the Ostrogoths (romans_julii)
    Kingdom of the Franks (gauls)
    The Saxons (germans)
    The Romano_Britons (britons)
    The Lombardii (macedon)
    The Gepids (thrace)
    The Burgundians (romans_scipii)
    The Bulgars (greek_cities)
    The Slavs (scythia)

Given the times, there could be many more, but no place to put them
My ultimate intention is to provide a series of campaigns from the first emperor to around 1600AD.
(Yeah I know, Byzantium vanished is 1453AD.....but that's the whole point of THIS mod...not letting it happen.) And, a series of mini-campaigns for specific major factions so that, if you play as them, you can
continue on thru the years. The win conditions for Rome specifically will involve a territorial gain starting at how the Empire looked in -23bc, 337, 476, 700, 1000, 1300, etc. For example, under Justinian, the Empire regained a lot of what was lost in the west....only to lose it shortly thereafter.

As far as playing as other factions, I'm thinking the major ones will be the Franks, both Goths, Sassanids, the Bulgars, and probably the Saracens, because each of these historically caused the Empire grief.

One of the unique things about this will be the old Senate, which I've completely converted to assign 'Imperial' missons, make 'Imperial demands', the 'Emperor' wishes or desires, etc. Anyway, glad to see at least maybe somebody will be interested in it.
