still the best tw game and mod
Hi,
been playing empire darth mod. I am more than dissapointed to see all those "battles are far more difficult" stuff. I am not saying Darth didn't do it well, I am saying you cannot make a good game out of stupid ai. I never experienced stuff like rearranging the whole army in front of me while I am cutting them to pieces with my artillery and musketeeers in rtw (just with archers). It's stupid. or when you attack them with 2k army and they are on the hill with 500 and wtf? oh yes, they attack you.. lol.. Or the sieges.
Unbelievable. Half of guys enters the fort through the main door, half are climbing with ropes, the enemy just standing and watching or going to the center. wtf? it just makes me not do sieges. or not to fire while ai is rearranging or.. just not playing that game..
I just always get back to rtw and spqr. Just gives the best feeling to battles. You just know they will attack you and try to squish you.. like silent hunter 3 among other games. old? yes. great? noone ever matches the feeling..
