    Just need to get this said now, I have tried alot of mods for M2TW, recently i tried out Wrath of the norsemen to see absinthias units in action as he had franks represented in that mod,

    but my verdict is that out of all the new units that has been created for Medieval 2 Total War over all these years, yours is the absolutley best looking units that has been made so far.

    please, never stop modding...

    P.S there are some units from Call of Warhammer and TATW that that in my opinion are equal to yours, but as a whole all of your models are outstanding and not just some.

    I agree, i really love these roman units, now i can finally pretend i am remaking the Roman Empire :X I am really really really looking forward to those unit cards :X so i can wash my eyes on my full stack "legions" :X

    Caudillo could you perhaps make a seperate exe compatible for BftB please as its a very good extension of the current 6.4 mod imho,beautiful mod of yours btw and have been a fan of the rusichi (marka team) mod since it was first released and your skins should be availiable for both mods i would suggest.

    Sadly I must decline your request simply because I am too busty right now with my other modding project and I do not have any more free time between work and like to meddle with someone else's mod. I give my blessing to anyone else who wants to take on the challenge but like I said I am completely enraptured with my current project that I cannot spare anymore free time. Cheers

    It is very easy to implement this great stuff into Battle Of the Baltic actually. You just have to play with modeldb and edu files and copy needed graph/texture files. I have done it myself and it took around 2-3 hours maybe. I would share the files instantly but my game is heavily modified already as im using also Eldorien's sub-mod (new units for Eastern Roman Empire), so ... it is a total combination of sub-mods i have adapted and merged. Not to mention Byg Grim Reality.

    No offence, I love the unit textures....

    but I have have hands down never crashed as much as I have using this mod. Unspecified errors are more than common. I mean, pre submod roster, I never crashed on any part of the map against anyone or with anyone. More work is needed here.

    I play as the Byzantines now...and battles are very hard to get going.

    I've not been able to get this working myself, and I'm not really sure what else to do. Going so far as to reinstall everything would be a bit much for what should be a relatively minor change.... eh.

    If the mod gets an update or has a skins-only version released, I'll more than likely go for that. Until then, I'll have to dream of the lovely sight of accurate ERE soldiery...

    So far i have only crashed against venice (wich is mor or less all the time, i basically cannot fight against venice) but have you also got missing shoulder & helmet textures like the ones i described in a few posts up? would be nice to know if some1 else has that issue

    P.S i installed the "Late Knights Sub Mod (Retexture)" wich replaces the exact shoulders and helmets that were conficting so it works fine now for me, but im just interested if this was just me experiencing this problem

    YES! I perhaps have the exact same problem. The shoulders look funky (like they have missing textures). One helmet type has the front visor of another helmet type plastered on the rear, and the 'salet' helmet type is completely black. Why black and not 'silver surfer' looking? Seems strange. Caudillo87, you are a naughty boy! Did you fiddle with the en_pp plate textures folder in unit_models when making this sub mod?

    Anyway, Fedual, you fixed the problem with the late knights sub mod, eh? I'm downloading that right now. The readme instructions are pretty clear and understandable, right? I've edited the battle_models folder before when giving Venice some units of other factions, so I'm not a complete novice with that file. Aside from placing the new textures in the appropriate unit_models folder, is there a heavy amount of editing I need to do with the battle_models file?

    Excellent! I responded back in that thread. Everything's working fine.

    And Caudillo87, honestly dude, you should put up a link to that Late Knights Sub Mod thread in the first post of this thread and list it as a suggestion for a fix if not a requirement. For the sake of others! I'm just glad Fedual was around to fix the problem before I did. Saved me some headache.

    Hey

    Were is the mount model and texture for the latinikon? also were is the texture for the Latinikon? i found the mesh for the latinikon now i need the texture and mount so i can change all of it

    Edit: might have found it in modeldb, ill let you know if i still need help

    Edit 2: Yea i need some help finding were the mount model and texture is for the latinkon and were the texture for the latinkon dude is, i changed the model and the sprites for the latinikon but i cant find the first 3 things, model and texture for the mount, and the texture for the latinikon dude

    >HELP WITH HORSE MESH & TEXTURE LOCATION FOR LATINIKON PLEASE< Edit 3: I have found the textures for the dudes now i just need to find the horse model and textures, any help would be apreciated

    Unfortunately I do not know. I have never experienced anything like the problems you are facing. My games have never crashed - I use the exact same files as are on actual mod and I only changed/added units for Byzantines and Persians, I did not mess with any western factions. I am so sorry that some of you are experiencing problems with my sub-mod. If I could help I would but as of right now I have no clue.

    Can you install the RLC mod and play for a couple of turns, use cheats to recruit them ...etc etc

    Something is conflicting here....and as the author, I was hoping you could tell me whether it does conflict with the RLC, or not.

    Maybe you could help me understand what the issue(s) are here? since you're the unit guy.

    I am not responsible for this working with other submods. It is up to you the community to merge it yourself because it's not all my work, if they wanted it to work with their submod then they would tell you but like I said I am sorry that it's not working but if you try and merge it then you do so at your own risk.
