At the beginning of the Romans Empire, Great nations started to flourish. Greeks, Egypt, India and the God like Chinese. With the Romans growing in size and power, will you lead them to victory or will you stop them dead in their tracks. Will you Rise to power, over the senate, And lead Rome to victory or will you fall to their might. In the new mod Rise of Rome I.

So what is it?

Rise of Rome will allow you to take control of the Romans, Indians to the Chinese and Japanese. Conquer Asia, Europe, Scandinavia, Iceland, Northern Africa. Lead the Ancient Samurais to victory, Take the well known wonder of the Terra Cotta army. Lead the Roman Legions to victory, Remake the history of Alexander.

Very great!! Really wish good luck for u..btw about the indian hillmen, i think the skin should look black (indian) not the vannila persian hilmen skin color.

So what year will the campaign start? The reason I'm wondering is because if it starts in the 3rd century BC like RTW there should be seven chinese factions instead of one, and Japan should not be around at all.

i have been thinking of that and it will be around the same time as rome total war does start. There are many factions of china but they did unite into an empire under the first emperor (terracotta soliders), if my memory serves me correctly. so they will be just one faction. Im not sure about japan

Im not to sure just yet. I am very fast at modding as i did all of those units and more within a week. And with people joining the team, the mod should be out quicker than most mods. But i cannot say just yet. The beta version will be out in maybe 1 to 2 months maybe???

Hi, we will be looking for a few testers for our beta Rise of Rome I. With the mod coming along quickly we will be bringing out the beta very soon (2 to 3 weeks away)

So whats in it?
Campaign map (double the size of the origional map)

The beta will no have any of the gamplay changes yet. Also only Rome, Greeks, Arabs, Gauls and India will have all units other will not yet. The only reason this is so bland is because i keep geting people pming me and emailing me to get the mod brought out.

Also why not join the team? We will need more people working with us, good or bad your all welcome. If you only wish to do a bit or alot your welcome all the same!
