What are AI nations doing with the One Ring?

Will the evil nations try to bring the ring to the black gate?

From FAQ:

Q: What happens if do not acquire the One Ring after receiving several messages about its location ?

A: If you play as a good faction, the One Ring will always somehow end up in the hands of its former master Sauron. When Sauron is resurrected, he will be introduced on the campaign map in the form of a unique and powerful general. Mordor will also become stronger when this scenario becomes a reality. Your relations with other good factions will be penalized for the fact you haven’t tried to prevent Sauron from regaining the One Ring.

I have read that. But how will the One Ring will always somehow end up in the hands of its former master Sauron ?

Will a faction, that is not Mordor, bring it with an army to the black gate? Or will it just spawn someday in Mordor?

In my game a general of the OotMM found the One Ring. My spies scaned all their settlements. But there is no general with the One Ring. Could it be that the general with the One Ring is on the way to the black gate?

If you won't acquire the One Ring after seven "notifications", it will eventually spawn in Barad-Dur. Just look at the headline in campaign_script.txt.

i destroyed all evil factions but havent destroyed the ring, will sauron come back and knock at barad door?

No, the ring is not "really" there yet when you get that message, it only means that you will get the ring once you conquer that settlement - as long as you get no other message about its location.

I haven's experiences it so far but I guess Sauron will just get it if you let pass a certain number of these opportunities.

A stack of fifteen units spawns led by Sauron himself, who has better stats than a Mumakil.

At least that's what happens when you play as Mordor. AI Mordor probably gets even more.

Sauron isn't invincible, I've seen him get killed in Battle, he abandonned his uber large Army and sat on his own in an Elf Settlement he took and was surrounded by Angry Mirkwood Elves.. You get the LOTR Video where Sauron is defeated in the Last Alliance scene; and the Quest to find the One Ring starts all over again.

King of men Aragorn should be a custom good hero like sauron but a bit weaker.

While I'm certain he is formidable in his own way, Sauron is just on a different level. Those two cant really be compared by any stretch of the imagination.

Hey have a quick question about the ring, the ring appeared at the city below the border to eriador below the N/S whatever and it was under control of isengard and i was gondor. I paid isengard money to fight off any of the other good factions from taking that city and i rushed in and took it, but i didnt get any notifications of it afterwards, right now im about 10 turns or so into getting the nootification where i get access to all of gondors good units and still fighting isengard, but ive killed saruman and am about to take isengard but they still have 3 or 4 territorys left and ive gotten about 3 messages saying their cheif lieutenants have died.....sorry but just wanted to get all that out their so it might help, so im asking is if isengard still might have the one ring of power becuz i have them completely surrounded and i have spys EVERYWHEREEEEEE between them and mordor which i have the black gate taken and the morgul pass patrolled so nothing has gotten past me yet, sorry if this is rambling on, wanted to put that out there so it might help thank you if anyone reads this and awnser back

When I get notified the ring is in a settlement, is there a time limit before it disappears or does it stay there til it moves to a new settlement?

I think it should be in the settlement until it "moves" to the next, which happens every 10-20 turns.

Point to Bowmaster; as far as I can tell the question is answered, that the Ring do not exist unless in the hands of the player but is only a matter of script counters for events to come
