    Default Annoying CTD

I'm havign a really annoying CTD. It happens at the start and end of battles, and even occasionally on the campaign map.

The game is also quite juttery/juddery/jittery, as if my computer is struggling even though it is a gaming beast, barely 2 months old, which can run any other game on max settings no problem.

Strange enough, there isnt an error message.

I followed the installation instructions perfectly, so i dont think its a bad install (although i did have to reinstall R:TW because of the effed-up patches, but the game worked perfectly before RS2 was installed).

    Information:
    OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit

    Version of RTW: Latest

    No Steam

C:/Roma Surrectum 2 <-- It isnt in the program files folder, its in a separate folder on the C drive, where i had it when i used to play RS2 before i upgraded my computer.

    Exe: Alexander (latest version: 1.9)
    Faction: Rome
Hi-res units and post marian general options selected.

    Computer Spec:

    CPU: AMD SFX GA-990FXA-UD3 rev:1.2 Hex-core processor (6CPU's @ 3.3, overclocked to 4.7GHz)
GPU: 2x NVIDIA GeForce GTX 550 Ti with 4GB onboard RAM (latest Drivers)
    RAM: 16GB

    Graphic options selected: Maximum.

Sorry for the delayed response. Start with reducing vegetation especially grasses, there is an explanation somewhere about why exactly, but adding high detail to veg uses a load more sprites, so reduce them to medium (and you probably won't notice the difference anyway) first, then others after that.

Anyway, glad you got it working and once again sorry for not replying sooner.
