    Default Character ages

I'm curious: how old do Aragorn and Gandalf, or for that matter any of the elf characters, get before they start to die off? I mean, you can't make a mod that has some characters who are immortal, others who live for 200 years, and others who hit 80, tops... can you?

150 is max age I thought (and no you can't have separate lifelengths).
From 120 on they can die of old age and 150 is max, it's something like that.

In my 2.1 campaign Aragorn didn't die until after turn 300. Just as he was about to take Barad-dur.

Characters that are 16 at the start can get past turn 500 so Gandalf can get quite old. The chance you lose them in battle is bigger than the chance you lose them of old age.

I think the best solution of this problem is to change the time scale from 1 turn = 1 season to 1 turn = 1 month...

A character who lived 400 turns (dies in the age of 100) may now live for 1200 turns. There are possible issues discussed elsewhere, but there are also solutions.
