Third Age on place 6 of the most popular GameFront mods

Can't really argue with mods like OOO and Gary's mod/Counter Strike beating it to be honest. Especially Counter Strike, as far as mods go, that's in its own league entirely.

How could an Oblivion mod I've never heard about be better than TATW?? I've played all that are worth playing, how could I miss this one?

OOO along with Martigen's Monster Mod (MMM) and Francesco mod is one of the most popular mods for Oblivion. Have you heard about FCOM? It's an integration of OOO, Fran's, Warcry, MMM and Bob's Armory, with OOO as a base design philosophy. It is probably the biggest overhaul to Oblivion. 6th place for TATW is really nice.

If you hadn't heard about OOO then you didn't do a lot of browsing on the different mod sites for Oblivion over the years. It's easily the most popular mod for the game and the amount of things it adds is astounding.

I'm not saying I personally believe that its better than TATW but it being placed over TATW is something I can fully accept.

this and +rep. ooo is one of the mods that is on the top of most list, when it comes to overhauls. strange that nehrim never made it though
i guess skyrim has it's cons as well as it's pros...

Looks like Oblivion's already in oblivion...

I fear TATW will never be at the 1st place of this kind of classification... It wasn't designed for casual gamers (not that the other mods were designed for casual gamers, but the ones in the best ranks can easily be played by casual gamers), and it's already hard for strategy or tactical gameplay type games to reach first place in any of such classification.

So to be in one is already a great accomplishment !

Gamers don't have lives, how original, not to mention generalizing and incorrect. I've been a hardcore gamer since I was 5, I also have friends who I see on a regular basis, a girlfriend and I'm currently attending Uni.

Just because you're a casual don't try to portray that as the only way to game and still have a life.

I would place TATW in third in that list. I mean, CS really deserves to be first cause it is somehow the greatest paradigm of mods. I also think the desert combat bf mod is great. They totally overhauled the game when a time during which mods were not so common. They definetely deserve second. TATW should have the third place. It is no dishonour to be third when you are competing against giants.

Personally for me it would be CS first, Gary's Mod second, TATW and SS tied for third and OOO fifth.
