Well RTR uses the Mundus Magna map in it, i think, and aims for historical accuracy, SPQR aims for great gameplay and expect to play lots of big battles in it, and the Mundus Magna is just a map.

It all depends on what you want or what you prefer. If you're looking for tons of action, play SPQR 6.1. If you're looking for realism, than try out RTR Gold or Platinum. Either way, you can't go wrong.
RTR all the way. GOld preferably
well I tried them all and I faund out that mundus is the bestand worst is SPQR of them

Another intelligent person for the anti-S.P.Q.R. empire!
It seems that more and more people are disliking S.P.Q.R.
I like RTR, however I havent played a mod that has as good of battles as SPQR. The battles in SPQR are unbelievably realistic. I think RTR did a half hearted job off making the battles better, longer, and more epic. All they did was just give all the units more moral, and u can tell while playing. SPQR was different, i dont know what they did but that mod has the best battles of all of them.![]()
Im new here and was wondering where i can find a mod where theres only one roman faction.
The SPQR mod has only one roman faction if I remember correctly. It can be found hereOriginally Posted by Spartan156

Well my mod, link in sig, Rome Total Realism and Europa Barbarroum all have one roman faction, but change a lot beside that.
SPQR has 2 roman factions, it still has the senate in it.
