Reward: Your screenshots as loading screens in SS, ofc with credits (yeah, we're that cheap )
Terms and conditions:
- Resolution 1024x403, .tga format - Battle, SS 6.3+ only (original unit skins)
- Please upload manageable amount of quality pics (max. 20 per person in total, 1 is equally good)
- SS team reserves the right not to include pics or to alter their colours
- Duration time - until we say "stop", possibly 2 weeks maximum
- Some other customary reservations
- Winners will be announced when next SS comes out (I refuse to answer when is "when")
- Chosen screenshots may be released as a submod

Make sure you .cfg has the following entries in the video section [video]
battle_resolution = 1920 1080
campaign_resolution = 1920 1080
tga_aspect = 1.7777
tga_width = 1920
tga_aspect = 1.7777 is 16:9, 1.3333 is 4:3 / this needs to fit your monitor proportions

If you have some "picturesque" battle screenies, then crop them to required format (and that alone limits possible set of nice shots) and upload 20 best ones.
Nothing Special just some french Knights taking it by arrows like they did in many battles . Just figured id get things started dont use this coz i havnt followed the requirments and its not good ill try and get more.
But come on peeps upload some you could have your funky pic on the game .
The 1024 by 403 is actually fairly difficult to get good screenshots. Very few from my AARs will work. Almost need to run custom battle and get rid of all UI to make those. I found I have about 5,000 screens but after 3 hours today where I got rid of half those I could only find less than a handful might work.

As promised 20 re-edited shots, I have kept the original 20 at the bottom of this post for comparison (in another spoiler tag). I have sharpened them as much as possible, saved them as .bmp instead of .jpg and given them more colour depth. Not huge changes but I think they look much better than from my first attempt.
Please any feedback/suggestions positive or negative greatly appreciated.

Couldn't quite get the full 1024 x 403 out of some of them - due to direction arrows and messages on the screen which was a real shame.

Nice pics indeed, very dynamic - would there be a chance that you increase quality (resolution plus other settings)? Even if it's choppy ingame, we won't see it on screenshots . If not I'll see what effects can be applied to make them look better.
Thanks, I'll see what I can do to make them bigger and sharper on my day off on Monday. My skills with pics and downloading them are a little limited. I saved most of them as a 1024 x 403 format however when they show up on the forum page its like they squash down a little more. A feature of Photobucket maybe?
