I know next to nothing about steam and ones of my submod users is having a problem installing, i dont have any experience in the area and was wondering if anybody could take a look and see if they have any ideas?

About the steam problem, I don't have steam, but you can advise him to use the steam mod installer tool:http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=334458
Those missing things in the log will not cause a crash, it's just [info], so that can't be the problem. Could you post your whole log?

crack away, its doing my head in, havent had this much trouble adding a unit since my first attempt lol

Then a file is probably missing. Check all used files (model, textures, sprites)

I dont think so, the model was sent to me by a team memeber i incorperated into the game, it works fine in his, but not in mine
