Creepypasta

So any of you guys here a fan of CreepyPasta? For those who don't know a CreepyPasta is basically an internet story,about anything(I've seen toys,ghosts,games,cartoon characters,serial killers,nature,and many other things featured in them.) which is written with the idea to shock or scare. I love them personally,though I guess that sounds morbid . Anyway what about you? Some of my favorites are Cupcakes,Mr.Widemouth,and of course Slenderman.

I just seen this thread and thought WTF is Creepy pasta???? I think I will stick with what I know best and that is modding total war games!

Pretty interesting, I like how only the fictional one is actually gory horrors, the others are just interesting. I didn't think slenderman was that good, but Mr. Widemouth actually has a lot of symbolism in it.

@Alpha Zeke Slenderman is actualy a pretty famous one. It's from /x/ and has a lot more fics than just that one. I too like Mr.Widemouth.
@Putasokinhet Like I said there are CreepyPasta's about everything. That one actually didn't scare me that much. Creeped me out,but didn't scare me. Even if Pinkie Pie is my favorite pony.

Stupid thing is that the MLP "Cupcakes" is the most famous out of the examples, hell I've even read it and I don't do fanfics.

Not even that necessarily. Creepypasta comes from Copypasta, which is a story which has been reposted many times on the internet.

So a Creepypasta is a scary story meant to be redistributed on the internet, via pictures or text.
